• The restoration was carried out by one of the leading specialists in the pre-war scene, Mr. Michael Peter (PSM company in Eisenach). More than 1,000 hours of work went into the restoration.

• Absolute lightweight construction; many standard parts were hand-recreated in aluminum – hence, for example, no bulky fenders and much more.

• The shock absorbers were converted to hydraulic shock absorbers to improve drivability.

• The frame was slightly modified to accommodate the technology from the BMW 328, such as the axles, steering, and brakes, which are from the BMW 328.

• The engine is from the successor model, the BMW 327, and produces approximately 60 hp. It features camshafts from the 328, a larger and ribbed oil pan (for improved cooling), and a precision-machined and optimized cylinder head. All engine bearings, pistons, cylinders, and carburetors are new or have been rebuilt to near-new condition, meaning the entire engine has been rebuilt.

• As is so often the case with vehicles of this year, a gearbox from a pre-facelift Volvo was installed, which of course was also completely overhauled (original gearbox is available).
