The BMW M1 is not only a milestone in the brand's and motorsport's history, but also one of the most sought-after collector cars of German engineering. Between 1978 and 1981, only 453 examples were produced in close collaboration with BMW Motorsport GmbH – of which only 399 were road-legal worldwide .

The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 5.6 seconds, and the top speed is over 260 km/h – figures that belonged to the automotive elite in the late 1970s and have lost none of their fascination even today.
